The Catawba is the most nimble kayak in our fishing collection. At 8'8", it's easy to thow in the back of your truck, roof of your car, or of of your dock. One of our neighbors keeps his on his power boat & uses it to explore the waterways he can't quite get into in the big boat. This versatile kayak is small enough that kids can handle it easily, but has the capacity to handle Dad and all of his gear as well. The wide hull was designed to be a shallow draft cruiser with the stability and tracking ability of a much larger boat. The Cataba is our secret weapon - it's ready for anything.  (We've even surfed waves in it when the fish weren't biting in Hatteras.)
